Focus Area
Lamu East is a remote and isolated island chain, located along Kenya's eastern edge in the Indian Ocean and far from the country’s major cities and infrastructure. Made up of small islands and rural mainland communities with limited transport access, its isolation restricts access to healthcare, education, and community initiatives, highlighting the need for targeted humanitarian support.
